MARLBOROUGH, Mass., March 31, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Phio Pharmaceuticals Corp. (Nasdaq: PHIO), a biotechnology company developing the next generation of immuno-oncology therapeutics based on its proprietary self-delivering RNAi (INTASYL™) therapeutic platform, today announced that it has entered into definitive agreements with several institutional investors for the purchase and sale of 1,713,064 shares of Phio's common stock, at a purchase price of $2.335 per share, for gross proceeds of approximately $4.0 million in a registered direct offering priced at-the-market under Nasdaq rules. Phio has also agreed to issue to the investors unregistered warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 1,713,064 shares of common stock.
