RENO, Nev., Oct. 15, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Plumas Bancorp (Nasdaq:PLBC), the parent company of Plumas Bank, today announced earnings during the third quarter of 2025 of $5.1 million or $0.74 per share, a decrease of $2.7 million from $7.8 million or $1.33 per share during the third quarter of 2024. Diluted earnings per share decreased to $0.73 per share during the three months ended September 30, 2025, down from $1.31 per share during the quarter ended September 30, 2024. Net interest income increased $6.3 million in the quarter and the provision for income taxes declined by $1.1million. These items were offset by an increase of $5.8 million in the provision for credit losses and an increase of $4.3 million in non-interest expense. The annualized return on average assets was 0.90% for the three months ended September 30, 2025, down from 1.84% for the three months ended September 30, 2024.
