FUZHOU, China, Nov. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Pingtan Marine Enterprise Ltd. (Nasdaq: PME), ("Pingtan" or the "Company"), a global fishing company based in the People's Republic of China (PRC), today announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2019. Third Quarter 2019 Financial HighlightsRevenue was $11.2 million. Gross profit was $3.6 million. Net income was $4.4 million. Net income attributable to owners of the Company was $4.0 million, or $0.05 per basic and diluted share. Management CommentsMr. Xinrong Zhuo, Chairman and CEO of the Company, commented, "Since the beginning of 2018, the Company started deploying rebuilt new vessels into operation in several groups and we have experienced a steady growth of sales volume and saw an increase in sales volume for the third quarter of 2019 as compared to the same period of 2018.
