The company's 2024 outlook implies a recovery into growth in H2/2024 as short-term challenges start to subside. The stock had a significant sell-off, which was unjustified in my opinion. With the undervaluation only widening, I remain with a buy rating. CPI Card Group ( NASDAQ: PMTS ) reported its Q4 results on the 7 of March, showing weakness in financials with customers' inventory management and cautious customer spending. In my previous write-up titled “CPI Card Group: Bullish Long-Term Future Despite Short-Term Challenges”, published on the 13 of December 2023, I initiated the stock at a buy rating. The stock has since lost around -18% of its value compared to an S&P 500 appreciation of 9%. In my opinion, the investment case has progressed as expected contrary to what the stock price lets believe. Reported Q4 Results CPI Card Group's Q4 results came in with mixed financials.
