The British manufacturing firm, which went into administration last year but has since been revived, will first build and deliver the new TVR Griffith, a 500hp 5.0-liter V8 sports car that was to herald the return of TVR back in 2017. It's also claimed that TVR will focus on “electric platforms” in the future. Paul Abercrombie, CEO of Charge Holdings, stated: “Charge Holdings' mission is to bring together iconic performance brands and world-class manufacturing expertise. This strategic merger with TVR is set to unite heritage with innovation, creating a new leader in the low-volume luxury automotive sector. More details will be announced in early 2026.” Charge Holdings is to begin a multi-phased restructuring of TVR to create a multi-brand low-volume integrated automotive group that includes Charge Cars, TVR, and LAB.364, a company specialising in outfitting and paintwork.
