The report revealed that multiple customers have accused Cascade Custom Pools of leaving them without a pool after paying more than $422,000. The report first aired on Thursday, and since then, more than a dozen families reached out with emails sharing similar complaints Cascade was named in a lawsuit filed Nov. 17 in Horry County Common Pleas Courts. An injunction request was later filed in February. The lawsuit accuses the pool company of several things, including breach of contract, negligence and fraud. The person agreed to pay Cascade $67,200 for a 12-foot by 22-foot pool on March 27, 2023. Another lawsuit was filed against Cascade on Jan. 24 in U.S. District Court in Florence. It was filed by SCP Distributors LLC, asking for Cascade to pay a little more than $320,000 it allegedly owed the distributors after entering a business agreement.
