The French luxury group sent shudders through the market when it issued a rare profit warning last month, signaling a tougher-than-expected turnaround for the maker of Jackie handbags and horsebit loafers, and causing its shares to plunge 12 percent the following day. The company's first-quarter results, published on Tuesday, showed stablemates including Saint Laurent also posted further sales declines in the first quarter.
