SAN ANTONIO, May 08, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Payment Data Systems (NASDAQ: PYDS), an integrated electronic payment solutions provider, today announced transaction processing results for the first quarter of 2019. First Quarter 2019 Processing Results Q1 FY 19 v Q1 FY 18CARD PROCESSING Credit Card Dollars Processed + 7%Credit Card Transactions Processed - 4% Dollars processed were the highest in the history of the company. The increase was attributable primarily to growth in the Company’s PayFac business line. Card processing revenues have traditionally been more closely correlated with processing volumes than transactions processed. ACH Electronic check transaction volumes + 20%Returned check transactions processed + 16% Total dollars processed for the first quarter of 2019 exceeded $856 million.
