Atkinson will succeed Jim Korin, who has decided to retire, and report to QBE North America CEO Julie Wood, becoming a member of the executive management board. Wood said: "We are extremely grateful for Jim's 25 years of service and the invaluable leadership he has provided during his tenure at NAU Country. He has played a critical role in building the NAU Country brand as a market-leading provider of multiple-peril crop insurance. We wish him well in his upcoming retirement." With more than 20 years of experience in US agriculture and farming industry, Atkinson latterly served as NAU Country's executive vice-president and chief marketing officer, overseeing marketing, branch management and claims teams.
