Ahead of Volvo's grand reveal of the EX60 next week in Stockholm, the Swedish brand has been dripping news this month about the next all-electric midsize SUV joining the lineup. The EX60 is the electric version of the mega-popular XC60, and because of that there's a lot riding on the electrified version of the compact SUV. Last week, Volvo reported on its 2025 U.S. sales and the XC60 was the top-selling Volvo in the U.S. Sales were up 6% last year with 41,106 XC60s sold throughout the year. The goal is now to replicate that XC60 demand in electric form. To do that, Volvo is stepping up its EV game. Better Battery Right off the bat, Volvo has improved range for its newest EV. The new estimated range is 400 miles. Previous Volvo EVs have always hovered around 300-mile range at best.
