U.S. chain Burger King has not announced it is shutting down operations, despite social media posts speculating over the brand's fate in April 2024. “Fast Food Giant Announces It's CLOSING Its Doors for good!!,” read sharing a photo of a Burger King store with the signage “Sorry, we're closed.” Comments responding to the posts include: “I'm sorry to hear that now,” and, “I'm so sad. I like the Burger King by me.” But there are no credible reports saying that the multi-national brand has announced its closure. There is also no such announcement on 's website or by its company, Restaurant Brands International ( A Burger King?representative declined to comment.
