According to the company, Raising Cane's will close out December with the opening of a restaurant in Sioux City, Iowa, a new market for Raising Cane's. The company will also open its first-ever restaurant at a theme park at Universal CityWalk in California, the company said in a news release. The company said in a statement to USA TODAY that the openings are part of the restaurant chain's expansion of its national footprint. The company's goal is to run more than 1,600 restaurants nationwide and to "solidify its place among the Top 10 U.S. Restaurant Brands by the end of the decade."
