Policy Extends Scope of Ongoing Efforts to Continue Meeting Customer Expectations for Chemical Management and Product Safety Company Establishes Expanded List of Restricted Substances, Pledges to Eliminate High-Priority Chemicals from Formulated Private Brand Items by 2020 CAMP HILL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE: RAD) today announced that the company has established its Chemical Policy and expanded Restricted Substances List as part of ongoing efforts to continue meeting customer expectations for chemical management and product safety. Rite Aid has been working closely with supplier partners to eliminate eight high-priority chemicals from formulated private brand items since 2016.
