Red Sox rout Jays as Price returns from IL - Reuters 3 Min Read David Price pitched five innings in his first start since May 2, Michael Chavis and Jackie Bradley Jr. each hit two-run homers and the visiting Boston Red Sox defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 12-2 on Monday afternoon. Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers added solo homers and each had three hits and three RBIs for Boston, while Mitch Moreland contributed his season-best three hits. Price (2-2) allowed three hits and two unearned runs while striking out four and walking none in five innings. The left-hander was activated Monday from the injured list (elbow tendinitis).
