MSC World America, the newest ship from MSC Cruises, features 19 dining venues, 18 bars and lounges and many more. What is the loudest cruise cabin location? "If we talk about being located to avoid distractions or being woken up or that type (of) thing, really the recommendation is to avoid cabins that are under a pool deck, the buffet, the gym, the nightclub, because in those locations you could hear the moving around of deck chairs, you could hear the silverware clanking in those restaurants," said Melissa Petersen, Group Travel Manager of AAA Western and Central New York. If a guest's cabin is beneath the gym, she added, they might hear people jumping or dropping weights. Those below the nightclub might hear music or dancing. "You don't want to be under those, but also you really don't want to be above some of the theaters or lounges," she added.
