Real Brokerage Inc. announced Monday morning that it has agreed to acquire RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. to combine its technology driven approach with the well-known real estate brand with an international footprint. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approvals and shareholder votes. RE/MAX has about 80 Realtors based in the Rochester area with a large office at 4123 26th St. NW, overlooking West Circle Drive Northwest. That complex was built the same year that Real Brokerage was founded. Real Broker has been growing quickly in the Rochester area in recent years. About 25 local Realtors operate under the Real Broker brand with veteran Rochester Realtor Pete Dokken's move from RE/MAX to Real Broker was the most recent transition.
