The chief executive officer of the Norwalk-based beverage maker stepped down from his position after less than a year on the job, company officer announced Tuesday. (Hearst Connecticut Media) The chief executive officer of Norwalk-based beverage maker Reed's, Inc. has stepped down from his position. The company announced the departure of Cyril Wallace on Tuesday as it released its fourth quarter and full-year earnings. Neal Cohane, who had been the company's chief operating officer, has been made interim chief executive officer and a member of the company's board of directors. The ginger beer maker moved its headquarters to from Los Angeles to Norwalk in 2018. Wallace had joined the company in April and was brought in to turn around the company's fortunes. Before coining Reed's, Wallace served as vice president and general manager for PepsiCo Beverages North America. Cohane had become the company's chief operating officer in January.
