That's according to comments compiled by CNBC following Rivian's first “Autonomy and AI Day” on Thursday in Palo Alto, California. Rivian's announcements included a proprietary chip, an evolved software architecture, new AI assistant and a roadmap for its next-generation vehicles autonomy features.
