Osaic Inc. has hired Shannon Reid from competitor Raymond James as its next president and head of advisor growth and engagement. She will assume the role on Jan. 12 as part of what Osaic billed as an organizational realignment that began in July. Reid joins Osaic from a role as president of Raymond James Financial Services in a move first reported by WealthManagement.com on Monday . She had been with the firm for nearly two decades, having been appointed president in November 2023 after serving as senior vice president and director of the Northeast division. Before Raymond James, she had spent six years as a vice president at Goldman Sachs. In the new role at Osaic, Reid will lead advisor recruiting, retention and engagement while also supporting platform asset growth and Osaic's W-2 employee model, which CEO Jamie Price has said is a core growth area for the firm.
