Eight of the portfolio's 11 equity sectors made a positive impact on calendar year performance, led by Industrials, Materials, and Financials. Our top contributor was nLIGHT, which designs, manufactures, and sells a range of high-power semiconductor and fiber lasers that are typically integrated into laser systems. RMT's top detractor was Open Lending, a leading provider of lending enablement and risk analytics to credit unions, regional banks, finance companies, and captive finance companies. We believe that many of the trends that drove micro-cap performance in 2025 remain in place as we head into 2026. Donny DBM/iStock via Getty Images The Fund advanced 16.6% on a net asset value (NAV) basis and 16.1% on a market price basis in 2025, outpacing its benchmark, the Russell 2000 Index, which was up 12.8% for the same period. The Fund also beat the Russell 2000 on an NAV basis for the 3-, 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, 30-year, and since inception (12/14/93) periods ended 12/31/25.
