Comps, margins, and free cash flow are some of the key metrics that have improved in the past 18 months. ROST is a bit pricey, but (1) not unreasonably so relative to history and (2) justifiably so given the strong fundamentals of the company. It has been nearly 18 months and 28% in gains (vs. the retail sector's 24%) since I published my last bullish article on Ross Stores, Inc ( NASDAQ: ROST ). It is time, therefore, for me to revisit this company and stock to determine if shares of the Dublin, California-based retailer are still worth holding today, following the recent rally that might make the stock seem a bit pricey to some Why I liked ROST Even though Ross Stores suffered from the whiplash effect of the COVID-19 crisis in 2022 (that is, a sharp decline in foot traffic leading to rock-bottom revenues in 2020, followed by a fast recovery in 2021), I appreciated the company and stock for a few key reasons.
