It's the slowest rate of annual price growth since April 2024, and a fall on the 2% increase recorded in August. On a monthly basis, average prices fell by 0.3% taking the value of a typical UK home in September to £298,184. Northern Ireland continues to post the biggest annual house price growth of any region, seeing 6.5% growth in the year to September. And average home in the country is now worth £216,496.
