Ruth's Chris parent raises dividend 15%, beats earnings expectations Ruth's Hospitality Group Inc. RUTH, +1.88% said Friday it will raise its dividend by 15%, to 15 cents a share from 13 cents. The new dividend will be payable March 20 to shareholders of record on March 6. Based on Thursday's stock closing price of $23.83, the new annual dividend rate implies a dividend yield of 2.52%, compared with the implied yield for the S&P 500 SPX, -0.38% of 1.80%, according to FactSet. The steakhouse restaurant company also reported fourth-quarter net income that rose to $14.5 million, or 50 cents a share, from $14.9 million, or 49 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Excluding non-recurring items, adjusted earnings per share of 52 cents beat the FactSet consensus of 50 cents. Revenue grew 6.2% to $135.03 million, above the FactSet consensus of $134.8 million.
