VANCOUVER, Wash., March 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Riverview Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ GSM:RVSB), the holding company for Riverview Community Bank (the “Bank”), today announced the promotion of Steven Plambeck to executive vice president and chief lending officer. In his new capacity, Plambeck will oversee the management and development of the commercial banking teams and all related lending products. Plambeck succeeds Richard Michalek who retired in January. “Steve has an extensive background in community bank management and has been instrumental in expanding our presence in the Portland market. We’re looking forward to the energy and insights he will bring to our executive team,” said Pat Sheaffer, chairman, chief executive officer and president.
