The lump-sum turnkey contract is said to be one of the final steps for the Texas LNG project as it approaches a final investment decision (FID). Texas LNG Brownsville serves as the holding company for the Texas LNG export facility, which will have a capacity of four million tonnes per annum (mtpa). Kiewit, through its subsidiary Kiewit Energy Group, will undertake engineering, equipment procurement, module fabrication, construction and commissioning for the entire Texas LNG facility.
