According to a statement released Tuesday, Gray removed access to 226 channels in 113 markets after negotiations over distribution fees broke down. EchoStar said the broadcaster was seeking rate increases that it characterized as unreasonable and warned the proposed changes could have pushed monthly bills higher for consumers. Warning!
