PALO ALTO, Calif. , Sept. 26, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Scilex Holding Company (“Scilex” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: SCLX), an innovative revenue-generating company focused on acquiring, developing and commercializing non-opioid pain management products for the treatment of acute and chronic pain and neurodegenerative and cardiometabolic disease, today announced that it has closed the initial tranche of its previously announced $150 million Bitcoin (BTC) investment in Datavault AI Inc. (Nasdaq: DVLT, “Datavault”), pursuant to which Scilex is expected to receive up to an aggregate of 278,914,094 shares of Datavault common stock (at an effective purchase price of $0.5378 per share) (subject to adjustment for stock splits and similar transactions). At the closing of this initial tranche, Scilex received 15,000,000 shares of Datavault common stock with the remainder to be issued in a second tranche in the form of a pre-funded warrant to purchase Datavault common stock, subject to approval
