YTL Power International , controlled by Malaysian tycoon Francis Yeoh , is tying up with Nvidia to build an advanced supercomputer the partners will use in a data center they are developing in Johor, Malaysia. The supercomputer will be operated by a new unit of YTL Power called YTL AI Cloud, the company announced on Monday. The supercomputer will use the latest technology from Nvidia to accelerate the development of generative AI. “This latest supercomputer marks one of the first deployments of the NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip on DGX Cloud, supporting the growth of accelerated computing in the Asia Pacific region,” Nividia CEO Jensen Huang was quoted as saying in the statement.
