The agreement covers Gaster Wellpappe, Wellpappe Sausenheim and PTI, as well as their sites in south-west Germany. These operations have 350 employees and recorded €74m in revenue in 2025. The deal still requires merger approval and is expected to be completed this year. Dunapack Packaging chairman Max Hölbl said: “We are excited to serve our existing and new customers with the best of our proven service quality by benefitting from our integrated business model with the Hamburger Containerboard division.
