The company expanded its fleet renewal efforts by placing two additional newbuild orders with Chinese shipyards while selling a 16-year-old Capesize vessel to spin-off United Maritime. Based on the company's fixtures for Q1 and current Forward Freight Agreement rates, Seanergy should easily outperform current consensus expectations again. The near-term outlook for Capesize vessels remains supported by strong levels of iron ore and bauxite shipments in combination with fairly limited newbuild deliveries. Given the combination of discounted valuation and strong Capesize charter rates, I am reiterating my "Buy" rating on the company's common shares, with an increased price target of $16.00.
