connection with the offering of $1 billion aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2034 by SM Energy Company (NYSE: SM). The offering is expected to close on March 9, 2026, and SM Energy expects to use the net proceeds to purchase for cash up to $750 million of its outstanding $1.350 billion principal amount of its 8.375% senior notes due 2028, among other corporate purposes, it stated.
