Shares are down close to 40% since my last article, and investor pessimism returned to this stock. I downgraded to a hold. Intense competition from tier-1 OEMs and ODMs is eroding pricing power, making SMCI's 19x forward P/E look more like a value trap. Balance sheet deterioration, negative free cash flow, and technical breakdown suggest further downside risk, with support seen in the mid-$20s.
