SNDL's Canadian liquor and cannabis retail operations are growing, but U.S. investments in Parallel and Skymint are opaque and concerning. Despite trading at tangible book value, SNDL's valuation is not compelling versus peers, and significant downside risk exists if cannabis rescheduling stalls. The recent rally appears driven by U.S. cannabis rescheduling hopes, but SNDL's lack of cash flow and uncertain U.S. assets make it unattractive now.
