March NY world sugar #11 (SBH26) on Tuesday closed up +0.10 (+0.69%), and May London ICE white sugar #5 (SWK26) closed down -1.00 (-0.24%). Sugar prices settled mixed on Tuesday, with NY sugar climbing to a 2.5-week high. Strength in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) is supportive for sugar prices. The real rose +0.31% on Tuesday, just below Monday's 1.75-year high against the dollar, discouraging export sales from Brazil's sugar producers.
