e-waste collection company – are joining forces this weekend to provide Hawaii residents with a convenient and free way to responsibly recycle unwanted consumer electronics. The free collection event will take place at Waikiki Elementary School's ‘Going Green Day' in Honolulu. Residents will be able to drop off unwanted electronic items from 9 am – 1 pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Waikiki Elementary School, 3710 Leahi Ave., Honolulu, HI 96815. To encourage consumers to participate in this recycling event, one-day free admission tickets for two to the Sony Open in Hawaii charity golf tournament valid during any day from January 12-18, 2026 will be available to the first 100 participants donating acceptable electronic items (See terms and conditions below for details). At the event, there will also be a special Genki Ball activity where participants can help restore the Ala Wei Canal with hands-on Genki mudballs.
