NEW YORK, April 27, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- SuperCom Ltd. (NASDAQ: SPCB) ("SuperCom"), a global provider of secure solutions for the e-Government, Public Safety, HealthCare, and Finance sectors, announced today that it has begun electronic monitoring of prisoners released from a United States of America correctional facility due to COVID-19. This facility and various others in the U.S. have requested assistance in managing prisoner releases as part of their COVID-19 mitigation strategy. LCA, a SuperCom subsidiary, will provide full case management and electronic monitoring services for these releasees during the release period. Reports indicate prisons and jails throughout the world have been implementing urgent measures to minimize the impact of COVID-19 among their staff and prison populations[1].
