Lots trading on the Platts Dubai trading window were being sold for about a $23 a barrel premium to the underlying over-the-counter financial derivative on Friday, traders who monitor the platform said. That compares with premiums of $1 a week ago. The Dubai benchmark is now being set by a smaller amount of crude that isn't reflecting the full extent of the risks around the Iran war, said traders and refinery executives familiar with the matter. They asked not to be named as they're not allowed to speak to the media.
