as part of a broader push to revive domestic equities, with early allocations already reaching selected asset managers. JPMorgan Asset Management ( NYSE:JPM ), Temasek-backed Avanda Investment Management and Fullerton Fund Management have received a combined S$1.1 billion from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, marking the first tranche of a S$5 billion initiative aimed at strengthening the depth and vibrancy of the local market. The move follows the creation of a government-led task force in 2024, set up after years of subdued liquidity and a stretch in which delistings consistently exceeded new listings. Singapore's benchmark Straits Times Index rose 23% in 2025, its strongest annual gain in 16 years, while initial public offerings raised the most capital in six years, based on Bloomberg calculations.
