In late August 2025, Sempra Infrastructure and EQT Corporation announced a 20-year sales and purchase agreement for 2 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas offtake from the Port Arthur LNG Phase 2 project in Texas, with EQT also securing a 20-year supply deal for 1.5 million tonnes per annum from NextDecade Corporation's Rio Grande LNG facility, both at prices indexed to Henry Hub and subject to final investment decisions.
