Jeep will not make a 2026 version of its slow-selling Wagoneer S electric SUV but promises it will still launch an improved 2027 model. The Stellantis NV brand said it's "pacing production" of the midsize crossover as it works on improving battery performance, software and capability of future models. "As such, the Jeep brand will forgo a 2026 model-year designation in North America as we prepare to debut the 2027 model year Jeep Wagoneer S, which will introduce full compatibility with the North American Charging Standard (NACS) charging port to expand customer access to growing fast-charging networks," a company statement from spokesperson Andy Bowman said.
