The arrival of the Chevrolet Silverado EV has given consumers the choice of two great U.S.-built EV pickups. And, by two key important measures, the top-of-the-line Trail Boss, which starts into the six figures, one-ups the similarly priced Lightning Platinum (which lists at $113,390). For an Albertan, that means a round-trip between Calgary and Edmonton without a need to recharge under warm weather conditions. Which is good, because it would take about 13 hours to recharge that battery with a Level 2 (240-volt) charger.
