Summary The uranium market is a niche area of the commodities market that has huge volumes trade under long-term contracts and light volumes traded in the spot market. Anyone who bought into this market over the last 7 years has likely sustained huge losses. Smaller companies with too much debt and high costs have already folded or been acquired on the cheap. Now many companies have to wonder how long they can exist at current uranium prices or if they will be forced to dilute, raise funds or merge. Everyone invested in this sector is frightened but I like to buy when others are fearful. The question I asked myself is if I were going to invest in uranium what would I buy? This article is the result of that inquiry. After taking a few days to examine this particular market from a distance, a few things become obvious. People are not interested in uranium and nuclear energy is not a very popular investment. It is an odd choice for me to write my first article about uranium but
