Summary Introduction On March 13, 2017 Cempra (NASDAQ: CEMP ) announced it had engaged Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS ) to assist in completing a strategic review of the alternatives available to the company subsequent to the complete response letter (CRL) it received for Solithromycin in December 2016. An interesting effort, but what does it mean? Many have quickly arrived at the conclusion that Cempra is putting itself up for sale and the debate among those who embrace this idea is - At what price?
