FARMINGDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cemtrex, Inc. (NasdaqCM: CETX, CETXP, CETXW), a global diversified industrial and manufacturing company, today announced that at the company’s 2017 Annual General Meeting, held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Holiday Inn in Plainview, New York, the company's shareholders approved an annual dividend of $0.02 per share on the Company's common stock. The new dividend will be payable on April 19, 2017 to holders of record of the common stock at the close of business on March 31, 2017. Also, at the Company’s annual meeting, shareholders re-elected five directors and approved other company proposals. In addition, shareholders ratified the appointment of Bharat Parikh & Associates as the company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the 2017 fiscal year, and approved a non-binding proposal relating to executive compensation.
