LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J., May 26, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Celsion Corporation (NASDAQ:CLSN), an oncology drug development company, announced today that it is effecting a 1 for 14 reverse stock split of its common stock which will be effective for trading purposes as of the commencement of trading on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. As of that date, each fourteen (14) shares of issued and outstanding common stock and common stock equivalents will be consolidated into one (1) share of common stock. In addition, at the market open on May 30, 2017, the common stock will trade under a new CUSIP number 15117N503 although the Company's ticker symbol, CLSN, will remain unchanged. The reverse stock split was previously approved by the Company's stockholders at the 2017 Annual Meeting held on May 16, 2017, and the Company will file a Certificate of Amendment to its Certificate of Incorporation to effect the stock consolidation on May 26, 2017.
