FARMINGDALE, N.Y., May 02, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Misonix, Inc. (Nasdaq:MSON), a provider of minimally invasive therapeutic ultrasonic medical devices that enhance clinical outcomes, announced today financial results for the three and nine months ended March 31, 2017. Financial Highlights for the Third Quarter and Nine-Months: For the third quarter of fiscal year 2017, the Company reported net sales of $7.2 million, an increase of 32% compared with $5.4 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2016. For the nine-month period, net sales increased 16% to $19.4 million compared with $16.7 million in the comparable 2016 period.Domestic sales increased 31% to $4.0 million versus $3.1 million in third quarter of fiscal 2017. For the nine-month period, domestic sales increased 29% to $12.0 million compared with $9.3 million in the comparable 2016 period.Consumables sales in the United States increased 39% to $3.7 million for the quarter.During the quarter the Company delivered its initi
