DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Former United States Securities and Exchange Commission attorney Willie Briscoe is investigating potential claims against the Board of Directors of Sigma Designs, Inc. (“Sigma”) (NASDAQ: SIGM) concerning the acquisition by Silicon Labs. Under the terms of the agreement, valued at approximately $282 million, Sigma shareholders will only receive $7.05 in cash per share owned. The consideration is significantly lower than at least one analyst’s estimated value of $10.00.
