CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Syros Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: SYRS), a biopharmaceutical company pioneering the development of medicines to control the expression of genes, today announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 4,188,481 shares of common stock at a price to the public of $9.55 per share, before underwriting discounts and commissions, which would result in aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $40.0 million. Syros has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase from it up to an additional 15% of the shares of common stock offered in the public offering at the price offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. The proceeds of the offering are expected to be used to fund the Company’s research and clinical development programs and other corporate purposes.
