Corporate executives are growing more bullish about economic growth Bullish sentiment has been rising , but it isn’t just investors who are feeling more optimistic about the economy—corporate executives are also seeing good times ahead. One of the primary themes of this past earnings season, which has been extremely strong , is that chief executives and other managers see increasingly positive prospects for the economy over the coming year, with much of their improved view stemming from the recently passed tax-reform bill. This is according to Goldman Sachs’s Beige Book, an analysis of C-suite commentary that looks at the transcripts of earnings calls between corporate executives and the analysts that cover the companies.
