ITASCA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- 1347 Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: TFSCU) (“1347 Capital” or the “Company”), a company formed for the purpose of entering into a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition or other similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities, today announced the consummation of the option to purchase an additional 600,000 units granted to the underwriters of its previously announced initial public offering for additional gross proceeds of $6.0 million. As a result, 1347 Capital has issued a total of 4.6 million units in its initial public offering, generating total gross proceeds of $46.0 million. Each unit issued consists of one share of common stock, one right to receive one-tenth of a share of common stock automatically on the consummation of an initial business combination, and one warrant to acquire one-half of one share of common stock at a price of $11.50 per full s
